Prior to enrolling as a student, I served six and a half years in the United States Navy, and I served on submarines as a machinist main nuclear, but I moved from working on specifically the mechanical portions of the nuclear reactor. And now I'm doing all portions of an engineer.
Maritime Academy is number one for pro military veterans. A lot of military veterans end up deciding to come to Maine Maritime Academy. And if I had to make the decision on why that is, it will probably be because of the way that the environment here is, and I think that every military veteran that attends the school could actually vouch for the same thing that I'm saying when I say this school dedicates a lot to military veterans.
Yellow Ribbon Program is a policy that certain schools they will match contributions that the GI Bill makes all students who are eligible for the GI Bill and no longer have the funds to use the GI Bill, the yellow ribbon will bridge that gap.
